Children Education Allowance - Hostel Subsidy : Clarification on Audio-visual Fee

One more fee is eligible for reimbursement under the scheme of CEA.

Dopt has issued an important order regarding the scheme of Children Education Allowance / Hostel Subsidy on 23rd May, 2012. The order is clarified that fee paid to the school for the use of any aid or appliances by the child is reimbursable. Hence, if fee is charged by the school for teaching through audio-visual tools, the same is reimbursable.

If there is any chance to pay the fee for audio-visual tools for your children, better to get with mention the word of audio-visual tools in the receipt for easy reimbursement.
