Southern RailwaySouthern Railway introduces special trains from Chennai Central

Southern Railway has announced to introduce special trains to clear extra rush of passengers in the route of Chennai Central to Santragachi. This special train will run as weekly superfast trian between the stations (Santragachi – Chennai Central - Santragachi). The advance booking for these trains will commence on 19th September, 2013.

The train running details and the compositions are under...

T.No.08041 Santragachi – Chennai Central Weekly Superfast Special will leave Santragachi at 19.00 hrs. on Saturdays from 05.10.2013 to 30.11.2013 and arrive Chennai Central at 22.45 hrs. the next day.

T.No.08042 Chennai Central – Santragachi Weekly Superfast Special will leave Chennai Central at 07.50 hrs. on Mondays from 07.10.2013 to 02.12.2013 and arrive Santragachi at 10.25 hrs. the next day.

The composition of the trains will be 1 First Class, 4 AC 2-tier and 7 AC 3-tier coaches. The trains will stop at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore and Gudur.
