Cabinet likely to approve DA for Central Staff this week:

Dearness Allowance for Central Government Employees and Pensioners from January 2013 - Cabinet Committee is likely to take for discussion in this week...


Usually the Dearness Allowance announcement will be in the middle and end of the March, this time too much delay for the announcement of additional DA from Cabinet itself, then Finance Ministry will publish and send authentic orders to ministries/departments. Then only the enhanced DA payment would be paid for employees for the month of April.

Everything over, now expecting the announcement from cabinet today or tomorrow.
